For this project we collaborated with Pineo Development in the Woolen Mills neighborhood of Charlottesville Virginia. The client was the Designer, General Contractor and Homeowner. What made this house interesting was the use of progressive building practices, and 3D modeling for the construction documents. The exposed framing roof system was a challenge to construct with stained LVL beams, pre-painted ceiling panels, and Structural Insulated Panels.
